
USGS Digital splib04 Spectral Library
Sample Descriptions and Plots
This page enables access to the sample description pages for the
spectral library along with customized plots. The plots will include
pointers to causes of absorption features (in blue) and any contaminant
spectral features in red. It is a big job to edit all the plot images
so this will be an ongoing project as we have time. The table will
ultimately be expanded to the left with plots at longer wavelengths as
we bring the mid-far infrared spectral libraries online. We intend to
have 3 plots: 0.2-3.0 microns, 1.5 to 6 microns, and 5 to 150 microns
(plot in wavenumbers).
You can anonymous ftp to speclab and download all the files, including data for viewing locally on your own mchine. Put all the files on your local PC or laptop, and you can pull up spectral plots and information anywhere on the road and while offline, by simply using your browser to read local files:
