USGS Digital NIMS splib04 Spectral Library Series

splib04: NIMS Range: 0.7 to 5.2 microns

Because the splib04 range is 0.2 to 3.0 microns, the NIMS library is limited to 0.7 to 3.0 microns.

The NIMS spectral library is convolved from the splib04b interpolated library for each state of the instrument we have worked with. The available spectral libraries are:

Binary Format (Specpr Format)

The following convolved spectral libraries are available for download. They are all stored in the Specpr Format:

• ftp splib04o.Z (Compressed specpr-format binary) - NIMS 0.7 - 3.0 critical sampling (86 channels), equivalent to the NIMS 204 channel data.

Ascii Format

The following convolved spectral libraries are in compressed ascii format

• ftp splib04o.ascii.Z (Compressed ascii) - NIMS 0.7 - 3.0 critical sampling (86 channels), equivalent to the NIMS 204 channel data.
